PurrOS 2.0 — what it does

Released 11 June 2026. Highlights:

• Total overhaul — new UI and rebuilt backend.
• PurrForce haptics control — native effect control per pedal (SimHub remains fully supported).
• Built-in firmware updates — PurrOS checks for new firmware automatically when your pedals connect; you choose when to install it. When an update is available, a Firmware update available button appears on your set’s tile on the Home screen. Every firmware update resets calibration, deadzones, response curves and axis inversion to factory defaults. Your saved profile files are not touched: after the update, select your saved profile and press Send to device, or recalibrate. See PurrOS firmware updates.
• In-game overlay — calibrate and adjust without leaving the sim.
• Live inputs overlay — real-time pedal traces (minimise the main overlay to access).
• Telemetry logging to file — for deep analysis.
• Mechanical profile setups & notes — record your spring/damper hardware config alongside software settings.
