Load Cell Hydraulic Effect Braking System, 130kg+ of pedal force

Experience a top tier braking feel with our 200 kg Load Cell sensor, engineered to replicate the progressive resistance of a real hydraulic circuit.

Our advanced 3-stage braking system provides critical feedback for muscle memory:

  1. Mechanical Take-up: Simulates the initial gap closing between brake pads and the disc.
  2. Hydraulic Modulation: A linear pressure build-up phase for precise trail braking control.
  3. Threshold Stiffness: Maximum resistance zone to simulate the limit of grip and prevent wheel locking.

Fully Adjustable: Customize the pedal travel and force to your preference – from a soft road car feel to the ultra stiff, short travel resistance of an historic Formula 1 car.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q1: Why choose a Hybrid (Hydraulic + Load Cell) system over standard elastomer pedals?

A: Elastomer only pedals rely on rubber compression, which can degrade over time and lacks the fluid, organic resistance of a real car's brake system. Our Hybrid PurrPRO system combines a 200kg Load Cell for absolute esports precision with adjustable Hydraulic Damping for that genuine, smooth brake pedal feel. You get the best of both worlds: consistency and immersion.

Q2: Is the hydraulic system difficult to maintain? Do I need to refill oil?

A: Not at all. We designed the PurrPRO hydraulics as a fully sealed, maintenance free unit. There is no need for bleeding, refilling, or servicing the oil. It is engineered to provide consistent pressure and performance for years of intense racing, straight out of the box.

Q3: How does the PurrForce Haptic Feedback work with SimHub?

A: The PurrForce system is natively compatible with SimHub software. We provide a pre tuned profile that translates telemetry data (like ABS activation, Traction Loss, and RPM) into physical vibrations on the pedal face. It’s Plug & Play – simply download our profile, connect via USB, and drive.

Q4: Will these pedals fit my cockpit/rig?

A: Yes. The pedals feature CNC machined brackets with a standard mounting pattern compatible with almost all 8020 aluminum profile rigs (such as SimLab, Trak Racer, GT Omega) and custom pedal plates. The brackets also offer an 18-degree tilt range to help you find the perfect Formula or GT seating position.

Q5: What is the warranty and return policy?

A: We are confident in our engineering. Every set of PurrPRO pedals comes with a 3-Year Manufacturer Warranty covering all mechanical and electronic components. We also offer a 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee – if the feeling doesn't match your expectations, you can return them. Designed and manufactured in Poland (EU).

After a couple of weeks of use, here’s some quick feedback on the FatBlackCat pedals.

Background: My previous pedal setup was Heusinkveld Ultimate+ + baseplate + 2× Simagic Reactor (no clutch).
My iRacing rating is around 1700, so I’m clearly not a professional sim racer. This review is therefore based on my limited sim-racing experience, my comparison with the Heusinkveld pedals, and—most importantly—my main goal when buying these pedals: not to gain five tenths on a hot lap, but to be more comfortable during long endurance stints, while keeping at least the same lap times as before.

Price: The FatBlackCat pedals are definitely not cheap, but they are still around €150 cheaper than my previous setup, while offering more at least on the paper.

Delivery: Extremely fast, ordered on Friday at noon in Poland, delivered on Monday early afternoon in France.

Build Quality: Very high-quality finish as far as i can see, nothing to complain about. There was a minor issue with the Heuskinvelt, that i will not developp here.

Installation: Very easy — four bolts and you’re done.

Physical Adjustments: Everything is very easy to adjust, much more so than with my previous setup. One of my main issues with the previous pedals was that they were far too upright, forcing me to compensate using the cockpit pedal plate. With the Heusinkveld set, I tried countless configurations: unbolting everything, changing positions, bolting it all back together again, adjusting the seat… over and over, improving each time the position, but never reached comfort. With the FatBlackCat pedals, the feeling was immediately right.
Another issue I had with the Heusinkvelds was throttle travel: even at the minimum setting, it was too long for my taste. On top of that, the pedal plate was still too high, even at its lowest position.
I’m 1.80 m tall with an average shoe size… maybe the Heusinkvelds are designed for Nordic giants?

Software: Very easy to use. The only thing I’d like is to have brake pressure displayed in kg, to make comparisons with other systems easier.

On simracing tracks: Instant adaptation. I matched my previous best lap time on iRacing by the third lap on the same track I had driven the week before.
Foot position feels very natural, and light braking and trail braking are much easier to control for me. After two weeks, I’m not sure I’m faster, but I’m definitely more comfortable.

Endurance races: Three-hour solo stint with zero leg discomfort. With the Heusinkvelds, after one hour I was already searching for alternative heel positions, and after two hours I was completely cooked, struggling in every corner.
Now, after three hours, my legs are still fresh — I mostly start to feel the limits… of the seat.

Haptics: Nothing much to add, except that they work exactly as I want with SimHub. They don’t wake up my neighbors, and I’m perfectly fine with that.

Support: Very responsive Discord support, with answers within minutes.

Complaints: FatBlackCats stikers should be included in the new boxes and send to previous buyers!

Conclusion: Exactly what I was looking for in terms of comfort and braking precision. The Heusinkveld Ultimate pedals are certainly very good, but for me, the FatBlackCat pedals offer more comfort and better controllability, at a lower overall cost once the Simagic Reactors are taken into account.

I own them around 3months. I had before some Moza, simagic p2000 and some others. PurrPro is a game changer for me. If u set them up correctly it like race on codes 😅 traction loss. Wheels lock. Abs. Wheel spin. Etc this haptics are awesome. If u spend some time is simhub it’s amazing how u can feel break pedal and braking process from hiring it hard to trail braking. I setup my brake as a 3stages and love it so much. I can with close eyes press 10% or 70-80%. Plus awesome haptic on top and it’s all what u can want from your racing pedals. Aaa and COMFORT is from other world. U can race for days and your legs are super comfy. Love them.

I’ve owned a wide range of pedals, from basic elastomer setups through to load-cell and pneumatic systems, and now the FatBlackCat pedals. I can say without hesitation that these are the best-engineered pedals on the market. I placed my order prior to the official release, and they were shipped promptly and without issue. I have other members of our racing community that also now own and love them equally as much.

From the very moment you open the box, it’s clear that this is a premium product. The pedals are built with exceptional attention to detail and made from very solid, high-quality materials. Their design alone feels like a small piece of art, but their true class only reveals itself once they’re mounted on the rig.

The precision you get from the brake pedal is simply unmatched. Thanks to the Active Heel Support, your foot maintains constant contact with the base and never lifts off during any phase of braking. This is an absolute game-changer and something genuinely new on the market.

The dampers can be adjusted independently for both brake press and release, which makes control and trail braking significantly easier. Honestly, it sometimes feels like cheating 🙂

Ergonomics are on the highest level thanks to the huge range of configuration options. Whether you have large or small feet, you can dial them in perfectly. You can adjust not only the angle of the entire pedal, but also the angle of the faceplate itself – something I haven’t seen anywhere else before.

On top of that, the kit includes multiple springs and spacers to fine-tune brake stiffness. You don’t need to buy anything extra – everything you need is already included.

The haptics work extremely well. I even abandoned the idea of buying a ButtKicker, because this setup gives me two independent low-frequency transducers that can be fully customized. The vibrations transfer through the entire rig and add a lot of immersion.

I’ve been using these pedals for three months now, and there are absolutely no signs of wear or damage. They feel practically indestructible.

If I had to point out any downsides:
    – mounting them to aluminum profiles can be a bit tricky, but you do it once and forget about it
    – the numbering on the damper adjustment knobs could be more visible – I often need a flashlight to see it properly

Overall, these are probably the best pedals on the market right now. I’ve also tested top-tier pedals from VRS and Simagic, and spent some time on Heusinkveld Sprints — and these still stand out.

    100% recommended.
