PurrPRO GT PEDALS have classic fixed pedal kinematics: the pedal face does not move, and there is no heel rest as standard. The faces are larger for heel and toe: the throttle face is 20 cm long and the brake face 10 cm wide. You choose your own heel support from the accessories below. All of them are optional.
What is in the box with PurrPRO GT PEDALS?
The box has the throttle and brake pedals, extra spring sets and washers, the pedal-to-pedal cable and the USB cable, mounting bolts, T-nuts and washers, high grip pedal and ankle faces, two power adapters and a link to the manual. Footrests and heel support are not in the box; they are accessories. The full list is on the PurrPRO GT PEDALS page.
Do I need any accessories for PurrPRO GT PEDALS?
No. The set arrives complete for driving. Heel support, footrests and the baseplate are optional.
What heel support options does PurrPRO GT PEDALS have?
- INDIVIDUAL HEEL SUPPORT for PurrPRO GT PEDALS: a fixed heel support for a pedal. It is the base for the heel cups.
- BESPOKE HEEL CUP for PurrPRO GT PEDALS: in 80 mm or 100 mm. It requires the Individual Heel Support, which is sold separately. It is sold per pedal.
- ASYMMETRIC BESPOKE HEEL CUP for PurrPRO GT PEDALS: in LEFT or RIGHT. It also requires the Individual Heel Support, and it is sold per pedal. One side of the cup is open, for more freedom of foot movement. It is preferred for three-pedal setups or right-foot braking.
- BASEPLATE WITH HEEL REST: the baseplate with a heel rest, for the classic full-width heel rest. Using the baseplate with heel rest, the pedal height is adjustable.
Which heel cup size should I choose?
The 80 mm heel cup is the best fit for two-pedal setups with left-foot braking, for drivers in socks or racing shoes. If you are unsure, tell us your foot size and whether you drive in shoes, socks or bare feet through the support form.
What is the baseplate for?
The BASEPLATE is a rigid pedal baseplate, 245 × 350 mm, for both PurrPRO GT PEDALS and PurrPRO FORMULA PEDALS. The mounting drawing, with the hole pattern and dimensions, can be downloaded from the baseplate page. It is also sold as BASEPLATE WITH HEEL REST. The Individual Heel Support with a heel cup can be paired with the BASEPLATE (without heel rest), but not with the BASEPLATE WITH HEEL REST. See mounting to a rig for the other ways to mount the pedals.
Which footrests are available?
- STANDARD FOOTREST SET: footrests for one pedal, the same 109 mm size as the footrests included with PurrPRO FORMULA PEDALS.
- WIDE FOOTREST SET: for wider shoes such as sneakers or trainers. The maximum shoe width that fits is 129 mm. Footrests for one pedal.
- LOOONG FOOTREST for PurrPRO GT PEDALS: a long footrest made for PurrPRO GT PEDALS.
The standard and wide sets fit both PurrPRO FORMULA PEDALS and PurrPRO GT PEDALS.
