What it does: replaces the flat ankle plates with a cupped heel rest with side limiters, holding your heel in a fixed lateral position on the moving Active Heel Support. Recommended for endurance racers and anyone with heel soreness — one customer with left-heel pain during endurance stints called it “perfect now.”

Sizes: 80 mm and 100 mm width. Rule of thumb from the community: 80 mm keeps the foot straighter (typical brake foot), 100 mm suits a slightly angled foot (some prefer it on throttle).

Install (5 minutes):

  1. Remove the Active Heel Support carbon plates.
  2. Unscrew the 4× M4x8 bolts and remove the ankle carbon plates and ankle filler.
  3. Place the heel cup on the aluminium A.H.S base — the curved wall faces down (there’s an arrow on the cup).
  4. Mount with the same 4× M4x8 bolts — just enough torque, don’t crack the mount.
  5. Press the two bolt covers in with your fingers (friction fit).
Watch outOn the brake pedal, don’t dismount the A.H.S M6 bolt to fit the cup — it’s not needed and the instructions assume it stays in place.
