Each pedal has its own 15 V DC adapter, and a surge can kill one silently. Checks:

Each pedal has its own 15 V DC adapter, and a surge can kill one silently. Checks:
- Both pedals still enumerate over USB (they can appear while unpowered) — so USB presence ≠ working.
- Test in PurrOS; then run the SimHub haptics test; then the Windows-audio music test (see Haptics section).
- If the shaker won’t play audio on one pedal but the other does → dead adapter. Support ships a replacement.
PreventionUse a quality surge-protected strip; if yours has per-socket switches, powering the pedals off when not racing is a good habit.
